Talk Overview: Dr. Teresa Portone will talk about her path to a career at a national lab, her experience as a research scientist at Sandia, and career opportunities at SNL.
Speaker: Teresa Portone is a member of technical staff in the Optimization and Uncertainty Quantification department at Sandia National Laboratories, where she has worked since 2020. She received her PhD in Computational Science, Engineering & Mathematics at UT Austin in 2019. At Sandia, she develops and deploys uncertainty quantification methods methods for a range of application problems in the national interest.
