I wanted to advertise an industry career seminar talk next week Wednesday, April 3rd, by a former UT-Austin math grad student Dan Kubala. He will tell us about his experience working as a data scientist at a local tech startup Trace http://www.traceup.com/. The talk from 12pm – 1pm in the classroom RLM 10.176. We will be serving free pizza! Dan has also kindly offered to hold one-on-one meetings with anybody interested in knowing more about his experiences working in tech or about the company he works at.
