Talk Overview: Dr. Malik Hassanaly will discuss the role of computational science to support NREL’s broader mission. Examples of research directions about computational modeling of energy systems, high-performance computing, and data processing will be outlined. He will also talk about how research is typically organized in NREL’s computational science center.
Speaker: Dr. Malik Hassanaly is a researcher in the computational science center at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). He graduated with a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2019, an MSE from Ecole Centrale de Lille in 2015, and an MSE from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014.
